Entrepreneurship and Engagement
UNIVERSITY ACCOLADES
I am extremely passionate about entrepreneurship, and I am lucky that Michigan State has such a fantastic program that offers many opportunities to grow. Most recently, I was honored by the Department of Agriculture Food and Resource Economics (AFRE) as the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for Environmental Economics and Management, which is awarded to one senior for their involvement at MSU. I have also participated in an Innovate State Student Panel, Judged the 2-Day Venture Sustainability Pitch Competition, was a finalist in Burgess New Venture Challenge 2022 Pitch Competition, as well as the Peoples Choice Award Winner. I pitched at the SXSW Midwest house with my business ranking in the top 3 for collegiate startups. I am a part of the Burgess Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Launch Program. I was featured in the MSU 2021 Gift Guide with The Cut Cookbook, and this fall, I spoke at the MSU Alumni Thanks for Giving Event. I also was featured on the MSU Hatchcast podcast multiple times. I am the 2022 recipient of the James Ian Grey Scholarship, which is awarded to a student who has been deeply involved in the MSU entrepreneurship community. Lastly, the Department of Agriculture Food and Resource Economics awarded me the outstanding academic achievement award in April 2023. I have proved my ability to execute under pressure and have been successful at a large university.
